This piece won first prize in a framing contest. The flies are mounted in cork and fastened to wavy blue glass which is then mounted on a burl wood background.
The frame is a combination of different woods, cut and pieced together with a hand carved acorn on top. The hand-painted decoration on the inner top of the frame emulates the markings of a rainbow trout. 14" x 17"
