Mask framed with three frames, each one highlighting some element in the mask, with additional designs cut in and applied to the middle frame. 30" x 30"
Fly Fishing Lures on Standing Frame (right)
This piece won first prize in a framing contest. The flies are mounted in cork and fastened to wavy blue glass which is then mounted on a burl wood background. The frame is a combination of different woods, cut and pieced together with a hand carved acorn on top. The hand-painted decoration on the inner top of the frame emulates the markings of a rainbow trout. 14" x 17" |
